Patricio and I founded Cali Salsa Experience in 2020, united by our passion for dancing, traveling, visual arts, and entertainment. We recognized the common presence of stress, loneliness, depression, anxiety, and lack of self-confidence in many people’s lives.
That’s why we developed Cali Salsa Experience, where we combine the power of dance, the growth of travel, and the magic of a live show to transform yourself, feel stress-free, and happy. Connect with your artistic and sensual side in a new community of joyful “travel dancers.”
How? Cali Salsa Experience takes you to discover Cali and its natural wonders, enjoy a multisensory journey in an intimate live show, and experience travel and dance in a Cali Salsa Tour.
Who made this possible?
I was born in Cali, Colombia, and have lived in Panama, Australia, France, and spent two years on board the largest cruise ships in the world with Royal Caribbean. Here, I designed and guided experiences that inspired tourists from around the globe. During the pandemic, I entertained the crew dealing with COVID restrictions and lockdowns by streaming dance and meditation lessons, teaching me how to better connect with people’s emotions and create positive experiences.
I have been a passionate guide in Cali, Colombia, and on cruise ships for five years, earning over 20 five-star ratings with positive comments. I have also learned salsa dance with World Salsa Champions.
I grew up in the beautiful Villa Alegre, Chile, and have faced various challenges in life. I am passionate about photography and in love with hundreds of dance styles. For the past three years, I was onboard the largest cruise ships in the world with Royal Caribbean, where I learned to connect with people’s emotions and create positive experiences.
Additionally, I have been a passionate photographer on cruise ships for several years. On land, as an event and studio photographer, I have worked with many dance exponents in competitions such as salsa, dancehall, bachata, kizomba, and ballet.
In Cali, I found the city’s joy, vibrance and unique connection with music and salsa. This inspired me to start this project with my “gran amigo” Alejandro, to share the magic of this city with curious adventurers and transform them through a trip full of culture and nature.
