We can pick you up if you are in the city center or close, but keep in mind we can’t drop you off. – The tour ends in the boulevard of the river near the colonial neighborhood of San Antonio.

Amaze yourself from the top, in the best viewpoint of the city with great photo opportunities at Cristo Rey. Wind down the mountain to learn the story of the controversial founder of the city, and meet the cat’s park by the riverside (Gato del Rio Cali), to walk your way and marvel through an outdoor art exposition, fully covered by a ceiling of tree branches and surrounded by birds.
Next, you will learn why Cali is the world capital of salsa, with its own style: salsa caleña, and dance your feet at the beat of salsa under a giant instrument. Stroll down the old city center, to enjoy the afternoon breeze while you connect with the roots of the city, pass by its place of foundation, adorned by the colorful, and emotive street art.

This tour goes for 3 hours. 2 hours by car and 1 hr by foot. Walk aprox 1.6 km (1 mi) at an easy pace in the whole tour.

The tour will operate rain or shine unless considered unsafe to operate.
A minimum of 2 guests are necessary to operate the tour. We combine guests from different hotels/hostels to complete this group. If the group size is smaller than 2, the tour will be rescheduled or the guest is offered to pay for two guests to operate the tour.
Maximum group size: 15 guests.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the Colombian local time.
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience, to book an additional spot or get a full refund.

As someone who spent part of his childhood in Cali, the tour with our guide Alejandro was still filled with interesting new insights and facts. Alejandro gave me and our visitors from the States a good overview of the city, and of what Caleños are all about. He had answers to all questions about politics, history and fauna and flora of the city. Our tour ended with a great dinner experience in the old town, also a great recommendation from our guide. Would absolutely recommend, or do again!

Having done multiple walking tours all over the world, we were in the market for something different. The Salsa tour brings both Cali’s culture of music and dance to life, as well as linking key events throughout it’s history. Alejandro’s enthusiasm is infectious and made the afternoon so fun for us!
